The Cause & Effect Concerning The Concept Of Success
Success is as much a part of man's destiny and as truly an obligation, as it is a possibility when his forces are properly directed along avenues of construction and accumulation. Success does require effort and patience; but effort becomes a pleasure when we are engaged in doing the things we love to do and see the results begin to manifest. Consciousness of one's ability is the center of attraaction for all success. It is our individual guidance. What, in reality, does success mean? Some answer, accomplishment. This alone does not fully meet the conditions for true success. Behind all accomplishment, there lays a subtle something designated by the wise as "the upholding of accomplishment". Success is not merely in attaining a certain status, but to succeed and then to be strong enough to make proper use of that which we have attained and obtained to the betterment of ourselves and for the betterment of others. To control success is the ultimate; to be enslaved by it is complete failure. Following the trend of doing as others do without any great incentive, is not success. It is not simply accomplishing a task. It is the inspiration within one's self that gives the power of adding accomplishment. Success is the cause and the result of itself. Not only can we obtain assistance from others, but are compelled to be of service to others. An illustration of this. The man who has become successful in a financial way is dubbed a capitalist. He seeks investments whereby he may increase his capital and power. He decides to bring fuel to a vast, outlying district. He purchases a right of way, he purchases material, and he must connect the pipelines with the source of supplies. He has an immense outlay of money, and is a huge risk, but in this respect it concerns only himself. In order to accomplish his desire, he must employ many men to do labor, giving them an adequate income; and, when the project is completed, it will supply many homes with less expensive fuel. The benefits to the mass of one man's desire to make a profit are unaccountable; and despite the fact that his idea was primarily a personal one, if he would have reached the conclusion that he had accumulated sufficient wealth for his immediate family and that further efforts may jeopardize his present security, many workers would have been left idle and many families have more expenses in fuel. Accomplishment alone does not meet the conditions for true success. The center of attraction for all success is the consciousness of one's ability. Success is an act of unselfishness in order to accomplish his desire. Success is for all who make themselves worthy of it. Reference Fact Monster (n.d.)
